haven’t been doing my best

fitness-wise these last few days.

I feel sluggish, unmotivated and I’m eating hella chocolate covered peanut butter cookie things, I went over my calories yesterday and I haven’t even tracked them today.

Lessons learned from today’s workouts

Lifetime fitness PE class:

  • I’m pretty good at cardio and I have a lot of agility! 
  • My lunges and squats are pretty strong too (I thank Insanity for both of these)
  • My core is not very strong! Definitely need some improvement!!

Try Before You Buy Zumba (immediately after PE class):

  • Soooooo much fun!!!
  • The music last night was a little better
  • Expecting to go throttle for both a 45 min PE and 60 min of Zumba after only eating a 280 calorie breakfast is an unreasonable demand for your body

Today was a good day, despite being the first day of class, I enjoyed it. 

My day in bullet points:

  • italian at 10…. found it very easy to understand, not as easy to speak
  • lifetime fitness at 11… only went over the syllabus so roomie and i hit the gym. ran 2miles .25 mile walk
  • try before you buy cycling at 12:15!
  • npb was easy cuz i read last night!
  • saw LC for the first time since i left davis! 3 weeks, seriously the longest we have gone without seeing each other….sooooooo weird
  • saw SC since left for break too, missed him a lot as well!
  • bus broke down from too many passengers
  • vp came over and we were reunited w him!

    soooooo basically I’m super happy cuz I got to be reunited with some of the best guys ever :] AND got in a great workout :D
